Been thinking about how to deal with the growing work load of late between the launch of StoreFront as well as managing client sites. So I had not given much thought about what I should post until I remembered some photos I took a while back of some great Deviant Art kit that I have collected over the past few years.

Starting with my oldest DA bag, the Laptop Messenger Bag.

DA-Kit 07
Its an extremely simple yet stylish strap-bag. It can hold just about anything from laptops to good ole books. Oddly I never used mine to hold a laptop, however it makes for a great school bag.

The bag features a plain front zip pocket which is within the front flap. The material used here is ballistic nylon and besides the odd frayed edge the bag has held up well for daily use for the past 2ish years ;) Actually the slightly frayed edges really contribute to the style of this bag, I'm serious!

These bags can be prohibitively expensive as you have to ship them over from the US and import taxes can get quite high, so just be careful, as even once you think you've paid for your DA bag you can still expect to pay a wee bit more on those pesky taxes :(

Here we have the fantastic dAPRO Digital Artist Backpack. I prefer this side of the front flap, it kinda has that clean, simple, professional look to it + that great DA rubber stamp!

Close up of the DA rubber stamp, with some stylish red stitching outline. You can see the "military grade" ballistic nylon material used on the exterior of the bag. Again this bag is extremely durable and comes with a custom rain coat, which will be excellent if you walk to school or university on rainy days.

DA-Kit 03
Here you can see the other side of the front flap, the flap is reversible so which ever side takes your flavor, it's up to you, this bag has some great customizing abilities!

DA-Kit 04
Straight on shot of the front of the bag with the reversed side of the flap clearly visible. One important thing that some may find slightly annoying is that the bag is particularly thin so fitting lots of extra cables can get a bit squashy, I found that the bag could fit a laptop, tablet, charging cable, pencil case and a few other odds and ends such as my phone and wallet however, this does fill the bag up almost completely.

Close up of the nylon material used on the bag, it has a sleek and stylish feel that makes the bag extra resistant to bad weather, stains, etc.The inside of most pockets have a sleek red material finish, whereas some of the pockets for the valuables have a fleece-lined interior, which makes them perfect for storing phones, ipods, or tablets. Concerning tablets the bag can support up to a 16x12" Wacom tablet.

Close up of the manufacturers badge, this is the pocket for your laptop, 17" laptops fit perfectly and it's extra padded for protection, I find that smaller laptops fit well, though, are not as secure. However, with the extra padding the laptop is going nowhere. One important thing to keep in mind is not to leave this pocket unzipped, else your precious may get lost....
